Facility Cook

The Cook is responsible for planning and preparation of meals, maintenance of kitchen facilities and equipment and for ensuring compliance with all USDA and health department requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

Responsible for preparing meals for the children and staff according to USDA guidelines.

Responsible for maintenance and cleaning of all kitchen facilities, equipment and tools.

Responsible for following all health department and USDA requirements.

Responsible for following safe working procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience

Two years experience as a cook in an institution or hospital is a major plus.

Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of internal and external financial reporting, reconciliations, budget preparation and analysis, grant compliance and reporting.

Essential duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Develop and maintain an accounting system to meet agency reporting requirements. All reporting requirements will be completed and submitted on time. Preparation of agency, program and funding source budgets. Prepares monthly and annual financial statements, detailed audit schedules and has available one week prior to meetings.
  • Maintain billing and reporting system for all funding sources including TDPRS, United Way, Archdiocese of San Antonio, USDA, Governor’s Office, the City of San Antonio and others. Bills will be paid timely, properly recorded and filed.
  • Develop and maintain payroll system that allows for timely and accurate distribution of payroll, required payroll reports such as 941 and W-2’s and proper tracking of time and effort to facilitate grant billing and reporting.
  • Develop and monitor policies and procedures relating to accounting. All P&P materials are reviewed frequently and adjusted appropriately to maintain their current relevance to operations.
  • As appropriate, the Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing and remediating deficiencies associated with service/program contracts in his/her department.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities

    The Accounting Manager directly supervises accounting professionals and support staff.

    Education and/or Experience

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university is needed. Five years experience as Director or Supervisor of an Accounting department. CPA preferred.

    Therapist –Emergency Care Services

    Summary:

    Provides individual, group, family, and couples therapy to counseling clients in keeping with the agency mission; participates in clinical staffing, Counseling Center administration and development duties.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

    Therapy: Providing the agreed upon number of clinical hours. Representing the standards and practices of therapeutic counseling. Maintaining clinical records in keeping with Center policies and procedures. Working with administrative staff to set and collect appropriate fees.

    Clinical Staff Participation: Working cooperatively on treatment team with Casemanager, Caseworker, staff, Psychiatrist, and respective School Personnel. Working cooperatively with staff colleagues, consultants, and referring Professionals. Actively participating in clinical meetings and case consultations. Attending administrative staff meetings, staff retreats, and other team building activities.

    Qualifications:

    Education and Experience: Must be currently licensed as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Ph.D. Current Medicaid # is preferred. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s or doctor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or equivalent. Clinical training and experience, validated by certification or licensure by the groups corresponding to their fields, and/or full state licensure in psychology, marriage and family therapy, social work, counseling or medicine. Master of a coherent theory and practice of psychotherapy. Must be able to complete Trauma Informed Care Certification.

    Child Care Worker - Part-time: The Child Care Worker is responsible for the daily care and supervsion of children under his/her dorm; ensuring their health, safety and well-being are protected. Children age range are from infants to 17 yrs of age.

    Schedules will be determined as needed, shifts include 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am.

    Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Texas Driver's License. Must have a minmum of High School/GED equivalent. Experience working with children is preferred.

    Cook Assistant Part-time

    Is responsible for assisting the food service cook in the maintenance and cleaning of kitchen facilities and equipment and for ensuring compliance with all USDA and health department requirements.

    Requirements: Minimum of 21 years of age, valid Texas Driver's license, one year experience in food services. Background checks are required.
